Scheduling a One-Off Meeting and Removing Holds

Once you’ve narrowed in on a time that works for a One-Off Meeting, you have several options for sending the calendar invite and clearing any holds on your executive’s calendar.

Option 1: Use the Booking Link

  1. Open the Share modal in Cabinet on the particular meeting. Click 'Edit Meeting' to get back there.

  2. Select the Booking Link.

  3. Choose the desired time.

  4. Enter the name and email address of the meeting participant(s).

An Outlook calendar invite will automatically be sent from your executive’s calendar for the selected time.

Option 2: Create a Calendar Event in Cabinet

  1. Select Calendar Events from the drop-down menu.

  2. Enter the meeting details and include the participant(s).

  3. Submit the event.

Once submitted, the calendar invite will automatically be sent via Outlook.

Option 3: Send the Invite Directly in Outlook

You can also create and send the meeting invite directly from Outlook, as you normally would.

Important: Update the Meeting Log

If you use Option 2 or Option 3, you will need to update the meeting status in Cabinet.

  1. Navigate to the Meeting Log.

  2. Change the meeting status to Scheduled.

Updating the status will automatically remove any Shadow Holds and Real Holds from your executive’s calendar.
