If you schedule a Cabinet meeting through Zoom, your Zoom settings will determine whether meetings have a unique meeting ID, or if a Personal Meeting ID (PMI) is used. You can change this setting in your Zoom account settings.

How to find this setting

  1. Under Schedule Meeting, locate Use Personal Meeting ID (PMI) when scheduling a meeting. If this is turned on, Cabinet will use Personal Meeting Rooms for all Zoom meetings. If it's off, Cabinet will generate a unique Zoom meeting for each event.

Note that if you have back-to-back meetings, there's a chance that participants from two separate calls may join the same Zoom call. To prevent this, consider setting up a waiting room in Zoom.
